Ganapati (or GANESH and GANESHA) is the Elephant God having a Special Position in many parts of the world.

The Son of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva; Brother of Kartikeya; GANESHA (Ganpati) is considered to be the most auspicious among Gods. He is the first God whose name is chanted when someone begins a new Task, Effort or a Venture.

Ganesh as ‘Vighnharta’ is the Lord who takes away all the Misery of his Devotees. Brings in a fresh breeze of life into the lives of devotees.

India is a Land of Gods and Miracles. Of all Gods, Ganesha is worshipped first. Amid chanting of Mantras, the environment is purified. The platform of the event is made free of all kinds of hurdles and making the sailing, smooth.

GANESHA FESTIVAL is celebrated every year towards the end of Monsoon. On the 4th day of Bhadrapad as per the Hindu Calendar, the Birthday of Lord Ganapati is celebrated with great Pomp and Show. The Ganesha Festival lasts for 11 days. The last day bids a watery farewell to the God inviting him again for his next Birthday. Slogans of “Ganapati Bappa Moriya” fill the entire ambience. And the God blesses his devotees a year of Success, Good Health, Prosperity and Peace.

Throughout these 11 days, special programs are held in villages as well as in all big cities. This shows the magnanimity of the Occasion.
